Your Facilitators

Steven and Helen Hess have been studying and practicing meditation and many different types of mindbody subjects since the 1970’s. Dynamic Mastery is the culmination of these studies and practices.

They utilize the principles and techniques of Dynamic Mastery to improve intuition, enhance their awareness of Spiritual Connection, and create positive change for themselves and others. These principles and techniques are taught in the Dynamic Mastery Class.

"There is no identity for you, except your Spiritual Identity."

Yogi Bhajan

Dynamic Mastery is the process and practice of Consciously Creating the life YOU desire.

Consciousness is the awareness of self and your surroundings. Most people talk about being conscious as the state of being awake, such as becoming conscious when you wake up or more drastically coming to consciousness (awake) after surgery or head injury or other physical malady.

We define consciousness as awareness. Most of us are operating on “automatic’ and are not aware of what we are doing on a moment to moment basis even though our eyes are open. Conscious awareness can be experienced in an awake state, in dream states, and in meditative states. Unconsciousness, or non-awareness can be experienced in both the awake and sleep states.

Brainwave patterns of different levels of consciousness can be measured on the Mind Mirror™, an electroencephalogram (EEG) developed by Max Cade specifically to measure consciousness.

Developing conscious awareness is not a one and done event. Dynamic Mastery is an ongoing journey of increasing awareness of all levels of the "mind" and the realization of Spiritual Identity and Spiritual Connection.

The levels of "mind" are the thinking mind (AKA conscious mind), and the Deep Mind (AKA subconscious, unconscious, and superconscious). In the Dynamic Mastery Class you are taught the principles of how these levels of mind interact and the techniques for change.

The iceberg is a metaphor for the mind. The part above the water symbolizes the thinking mind (AKA conscious mind.) The part below the water symbolizes the Deep Mind (AKA  the subconscious, unconscious, and superconscious). Think of the subconscious as the domain for the social part of you, the unconscious as the domain of your body, and the superconscious mind as the domain of the spirit.

The goal of Dynamic Mastery is to improve the overall quality of life through the development of the conscious awareness of the thoughts, emotions, body, and spirit interaction; the giving and receiving of information to all levels of the mind; and using this information and connection to consciously create the change desired.

Most of the day, most of us, are functioning by habit, on automatic. We automatically get up, get dressed, drive to work or school, work, talk and interact with others, drive home, eat dinner, watch television or play on our electronic devices, and go to bed. We don’t have to think about it.

Automatic is very easy and is important for survival. Imagine how difficult it would be to have to relearn any one of these behaviors, such as driving, every day.

This automatic, habitual function of the subconscious and unconscious is important. The difficulty comes when we carry on doing the same thing over and over, even though we know it is not good for us. We might have the best of intentions to change. We might be on our best behavior for a day or so. Then, we lose motivation, forget about what our intention is, or an emotional event occurs, and we are back to the old habit or behavior.

Think of these habitual automatic thoughts, emotions, and behaviors as “programs.” Kind of like the software of a computer. Change the program in the computer, and you change the result. Practicing the principles and techniques of Dynamic Mastery gives you the option to change.

Most self-help books and courses focus on affirmations. Affirmations are positive statements of what you want to be or have happen. Affirmations are good, and are helpful. With enough repetition, with belief and expectancy, people have received wonderful responses.

What happens when affirmations don’t work?

In Dynamic Mastery, we recognize that not only are we talking to the Deep Mind with affirmations, and guided imagery, etc. We also use other techniques to "talk" to the Deep Mind. The Deep Mind is also “talking” to us. As we learn the language of the Deep Mind, we become more conscious of the information the Deep Mind has for us.

Dynamic Mastery utilizes the principles of the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual realms and specific techniques to improve Spiritual Connection, intuition, and positive change in any realm. This is not information which is taught in school. The principles and techniques for creating change are taught in the Dynamic Mastery Class. You can apply the principles and techniques to any area of your life. These principles are applicable to parenting children, marital and other relationships, work, school, sports, health, your spirituality, and just about any other area of your life.
