Clinical Hypnotherapy

Bach Flowers

Every living thing has a vibration as demonstrated by Kirlian photography or the water experiments Mosaru Emoto. Bach Flowers are the vibration of healing plants that has been harnessed in a liquid form that one takes by mouth or rubs onto skin surfaces.  As these remedies are “vibration” and not the chemistry of the plant, they are safe to take. There are no drug/herbal interactions.  These plants are chosen based on a person’s current mental and emotional attitudes, and can be likened to “therapy,” in that the right Bach Flower can change or soften attitude.  There are 38 different remedies, each addressing a different mental/emotional state.

Although the Bach Flowers do not directly treat physical  or psychiatric disorders, the calming influence helps to decrease stress.  The resultant decrease in stress improves function. The Bach Flowers can also assist in decision making, adjustment to change, decrease fear, decrease procrastination, improve self confidence, decrease guilt, to name just a few of the possibilities.

Mind Mirror Biofeedback as taught by Anna Wise

The intention of the Mind Mirror EEG biofeedback machine is to facilitate higher levels of consciousness and improve conscious access to the subconscious mind.  Maxwell Cade invented this machine and tested it on Gurus and Zen masters to calibrate the levels of consciousness.

Ann Wise brought the Mind Mirror to the USA and refined the interpretation of different patterns and developed a protocol on how to create what she coined as “The High Performance Mind,” or otherwise known as “The Awakened Mind.” She noticed that executives, musicians, athletes had the "Awakened Mind" pattern when they were “creating.” The Mind Mirror EEG biofeedback machine is used by the Awakened Mind Practitioner to access the current brainwave pattern of the client.  The practitioner assesses the pattern, and then through verbal feedback assists the client’s brainwave patterns to shift.

The Awakened Mind class is scheduled for May 5 & 6, 2018.  This class is expected to fill quickly. Each of the students will have an opportunity to have their brainwaves monitored in "real time."

Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga utilizes body posture, the breath, and chanting to improve function.  There are specific Kundalini Yoga protocols to assist with mood and anxiety (see Shannahoff-Khalsa).  Kirtan Krya has been shown to reduce cognitive deficits in ptients with Mild Cognitive Impairment (see study done by Dharma Singh Khalsa MD and Dr. Daniel Amen MD)
